No formal electrical qualifications are required. Our Beginner tier is designed for complete newcomers. However, electricians and trades professionals will find their existing skills give them a significant advantage, particularly in the Advanced and Pro tiers.
How do my electrical skills transfer to smart home installation?
Electricians already understand wiring, cable management, safe working practices, consumer units, and client-facing work. Smart home installation builds on these foundations by adding smart device configuration, home automation protocols, network setup, and system integration.

Yes. The Beginner tier is delivered online over a weekend, so you only need a short time away from work. The Advanced tier requires in-person attendance at our training centre but is delivered over a short, intensive period to minimise disruption.
